Peer Review Process

The peer review process is a critical component of scholarly publishing. It assists the editorial team in making informed publication decisions and helps authors improve the quality and clarity of their manuscripts. International Journal of Global Research and Development (IJGRD) follows a double-blind peer review system to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity.

Under this process, the identities of the author(s) are removed from the manuscript and concealed from reviewers throughout the evaluation period. Reviewers assess only the content of the manuscript without access to any information that could reveal the author(s)’ identity. Removed details include names, institutional affiliations, country, contact information, and email addresses. Any identifying information contained in the Acknowledgements or Conflict of Interest declarations is also excluded prior to review.

Submitted manuscripts are assigned to members of the editorial board or to independent subject-matter experts through the journal’s Manuscript Management System. Reviewers evaluate each submission and provide one of the following recommendations:

  1. Accept without revision

  2. Accept with minor or major revisions

  3. Reject in the current form

  4. Reject outright

  5. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, an official acceptance notification is sent to the corresponding author.
